Call for Street Artists
The Eagle Arts Commission invites street artists to apply for an art competition. Six (6) artists will be selected. The competition will be located on the North Channel pedestrian underpass retaining walls. The artists should choose how to address their assigned space and will have six (6) hours to complete their work on the day of competition. The artwork should complement the space, serve to highlight the unique qualities of the Greenbelt as well as life in the City of Eagle. Potential themes for the work are recreational activities, the river or the history of the area.
Call for Selection Panel Participants
The Eagle Arts Commission invites Artists and Arts Professionals to become apart of a pool to serve as voting members on one (1) or more Public Art Project Selection Panels. Selection Panels may consist of one (1) or more of the following individuals: Stakeholders; Eagle Arts Commission members; and Artists or Fine Arts Professionals. This opportunity allows the Eagle Arts Commission to create a base for individuals to actively participate in the decision-making process.
"83616 WORKS" Call for Photographers
The Eagle Arts Commission (EAC) in cooperation with the Eagle Chamber of Commerce is pleased to provide photographers, amateur and professional, the opportunity to submit their images for the “83616 WORKS” themed exhibit. The intent of the exhibit is to communicate the wide diversity of work endeavors that take place in the City of Eagle and the City’s Area of Impact. Awards will be presented at the “83616 WORKS RECEPTION.” First, Second and Third Place winners and up to three (3) Honorable Mentions will be chosen. The awards shall be: First Place, $300; Second Place, $200; and Third Place, $100. The photographs will be on display at City Hall from July 1 through July 31, 2020. The deadline to submit work is Friday, June 5, 2020.
Art That’s Small at Eagle City Hall
“Art That’s Small at Eagle City Hall” is an open exhibition presented by the Eagle Arts Commission. Including the frame, artwork must be no longer than twelve inches (12”) along any edge and not greater than three inches (3”) in depth. The deadline to apply is March 29, 2020. The artwork will be exhibited at Eagle City Hall from May 1 through May 31, 2020. There will be a Reception and Awards Ceremony at Eagle City Hall beginning 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2020.
2020-2021 Gallery Displays
The Eagle Arts Commission is looking for 2D and 3D artists to display their work at two gallery locations, Eagle City Hall and the St. Luke’s Campus during 2020-2021. The EAC promotes the work of both local and regional artists in a variety of mediums. Artists who are new to public art display are encouraged to enter. The deadline for submittals is Friday, March 20, 2020, at 4:00 p.m.
