Crush the Curve Idaho opens testing site at Eagle Middle School

Crush the Curve Idaho has set up a COVID-19 testing site in Eagle. You can now go to Eagle Middle School (1000 W. Floating Feather Road) and get tested today through Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm. Crush the Curve Idaho is currently offering the active-COVID-19 virus test, not the antibody test at Eagle Middle School.

Mayor Jason Pierce visited the testing site on Tuesday, July 7, to learn more about it. Here is how it works: Crush the Curve is accepting customers by appointment and walk-ins; however, appointments are preferred. To schedule an appointment, you will first need to fill out an assessment on the Crush the Curve website

Once you arrive to get tested, Crush the Curve workers will walk you through self-administering a COVID-19 test. The test kit then goes to a lab for processing. The lab will contact you with the test results in a few days. The tests cost about $100. The testing lab will bill your insurance, or seek reimbursement from the CARES Act if you are uninsured and unable to pay out of pocket.

Crush the Curve Idaho’s employees at Eagle Middle School work in the parking lot and a small area inside the school. There are no students in the building at this time, and Crush the Curve workers are regularly sanitizing the areas they are using. Members of the public who are there to get tested are not allowed in the building. All testing happens while people are in their cars.

Thank you, Crush the Curve Idaho, for making this service convenient for Eagle residents! Crush the Curve Idaho is a non-profit organization. If you would like to help their mission to test people for COVID-19 and keep our community healthy, visit their website
