What We Do

Once a small, tranquil farming town, Eagle has experienced rapid and energetic growth. While preserving the charm and values of our historic past, the Eagle Arts Commission (EAC) is challenged to fulfill our Mission Statement and introduce new opportunities that meet the cultural needs of a larger, more diverse community.

The EAC is comprised of six Eagle volunteer residents who have been appointed by the Eagle City Council.

Art Around Town

Traffic Box Wraps

Keep an eye out around town. This begins with a Call to Artists! We continue to engage the community to participate in this artistic endeavor. Adult, youth and children's art has been featured.

Recycled Glass Enclosure

The Recycled Glass Enclosure was a joint effort between the EAC and Eagle's Public Works Department. The stunning results are visible along East State Street and East Civic Lane.

Wayfinding Signs

Around town, Wayfinding Signs guide you to key City locations.

EAC supports both the Eagle City Hall and St. Luke's Eagle Medical Plaza galleries. There is an annual Call for Artists who wish to submit their works. New artwork is displayed monthly. This is open to the community and you do not have to be a professional to participate!

  • The Eagle City Hall Gallery is located at 660 E Civic Lane, Eagle, Idaho 83616.
  • The St. Luke's Eagle Medical Plaza Gallery is located at 3101 E State Street, Eagle Idaho 83616.

Art That's Small at Eagle City Hall was a new event introduced in 2018. It was a juried exhibit where no art piece was larger than 12 inches by 12 inches. At the reception for this event, ribbons and cash awards were presented to the top three winners.

The Eagle Arts Commission presented the Winter Holiday Quilt and Fiber Exhibit in 2018. This exhibit showcases winter holiday themed quilts and fiber arts. At the exhibit, eight Viewer's Choice ribbons were presented. This is an annual event that will occur each year in December.

The EAC continues to sponsor fun and educational activities at Eagle Fun Days, Harvest Fest, Country Christmas, and the Saturday Market.

Financial support is offered for artistic and cultural events and educational opportunities that benefit the Eagle community and local schools.

Literary, musical, vocal, and theatrical events are in the planning stages. Activities and coordinated events with other City departments and Commissions are also being discussed. Come, participate, and help us plan for our future.
