The Eagle Arts Commission (EAC) is pleased to provide amateur, professional and student artists the opportunity to create vivid chalk art (teams welcome). The theme is “Eagle is Strong.” The event will take place throughout Heritage Park in Downtown Eagle on Thursday, July 30, 2020 in conjunction with the Eagle Art Walk hosted by Finer Frames and sponsored by the EAC. There will be two (2) levels: The Master Level (artists 18 years and older) and the Youth Challenge (artists younger than 18). The deadline to apply is July 12, 2020.
The Eagle Arts Commission invites Artists and Arts Professionals to become apart of a pool to serve as voting members on one (1) or more Public Art Project Selection Panels. Selection Panels may consist of one (1) or more of the following individuals: Stakeholders; Eagle Arts Commission members; and Artists or Fine Arts Professionals. This opportunity allows the Eagle Arts Commission to create a base for individuals to actively participate in the decision-making process.
The Eagle Arts Commission is looking for 2D artists to display their work at two gallery locations, Eagle City Hall and the St. Luke’s Campus during 2020-2021. The EAC promotes the work of both local and regional artists in a variety of mediums. Artists who are new to public art display are encouraged to enter. Open until filled.
