Call for Literary Artists - Bench Art Stop Program

Call for Artists - Bench 9.20The Eagle Arts Commission (EAC) is pleased to provide literary artists the opportunity to submit their work for the “Art Stop” literary art program on Eagle’s public trails and pathways. The intent of the program is to add to the City’s collection of public art with examples of literary art, whether spoken or sung, that are intended to be contextually specific to a designated place within the City’s trails and pathways system. The public will access this literary art via a QR Code on an Art Stop sign at each designated location and will listen to the works of literary art via the City’s smartphone app in the same location that the works were created or inspired. The Art Stop in question for this call is a bench on the Eagle Greenbelt by the Boise River. Chosen artists will be paid $500.00 each for the non-exclusive rights to display the work. Submittals shall be completed online at artscommission@cityofeagle.org by 5:00 p.m. (MST) Friday, December 17th, 2021. Click the link below for full submission guidelines and rules.

Call for Artists - Bench 11.03The Eagle Arts Commission (EAC) is pleased to provide literary artists the opportunity to submit their work for the “Art Stop” literary public art program on Eagle’s public trails and pathways. The intent of the program is to add to the City’s collection of public art with examples of literary art, whether spoken or sung, that are intended to be contextually specific to a designated place within the City’s trails and pathways system. The public will access this literary art via a QR Code on an Art Stop sign at each designated location and will listen to the works of literary art via the City’s smartphone app in the same location that the works were created or inspired. The Art Stop in question for this call is the North Channel Bench pictured. Chosen artists will be paid $500.00 each for the non-exclusive rights to display the work in any and all physical, published, and electronic forms in perpetuity. Submittals shall be completed online at artscommission@cityofeagle.org by 5:00 p.m. (MST) Friday, January 14th, 2022. Click the link below for full submission guidelines and rules.
